pregnant with her daughter Kaya McKenna Callahan she was supposed to be on a flight that turned out to be one of the planes that went into the Twin Towers on 9/11. La Rue changed her flight so she could sleep in the night before. She gave birth to her daughter on December 6, 2001.
Eva has been in different television movies in addition to soap operas. She played Annette Funicello in a biography movie of the Mouseketeer and also played Princess Serena in an adaptation of “Remembrance” by Danielle Steel.
