Perhaps she should not have even confirmed her relationship with Brian Urlacher because now Jenny McCarthy is having to confirm their split. That’s right, just a few months after dating, Jenny have decided to call it quits and despite being relatively tight-lipped about even being with the guy, Jenny sure has no hesitation in letting the world know she is dunzo with him.

Jenny released the following statement to PEOPLE magazine, “Brian and I have decided to turn our romance into an amazing friendship. I will continue to be the biggest cheerleader for him. Go, Bears!”

Back in April when the media asked her about her relationship with Brian, she shyly said, “I’m giddy about someone”, but giddy no more.

Hilary Duff is no longer going to be sitting on her duff taking care of her kiddie. Girlfriend wants to work, yo and she’s going to do just that. Duff is returning to the small screen after marrying, making babies and rolling around in her Lizzie McGuire monies. In fact, Duff has just signed a development deal with 20th Century Fox Television to not only produce but also star in her OWN comedy.

Deadline.com first reported the news and Duff confirmed the report in a post on her Twitter.com page on Monday. She told fans, “Ok it’s official! Very excited about my development deal with 20th Century Fox!! T.V. here I come!”

Duff as an adult comedic actress? Hmmm, I’m not so sure what to think about this but I guess it has been awhile since she’s been on the small screen so perhaps it will refreshing to see her working again? Hey, I’m trying to think positively here.

Holy freakin’ booze hound, batman! Country star Randy Travis was busted on Tuesday night on suspicion of driving while intoxicated!

TMZ is reporting that Mr. Digging Up Bones was caught around 11:50pm after he crashed his car in Texas. Even though nobody else was involved, Travis did end up with minor cuts and bruises.

Apparently when cops arrived to the scene, Randy was sitting in his 1998 Pontiac Trans Am in the freakin’ buff! Yep Randy had his butt and his coin purse hanging freely but the cops made sure to give him some clothing for his mug shot.

According to TMZ, cops were called to the scene at about 11:18 after somebody reported a man lying in the middle of the road. In addition to the DWI, the country swooner threatened to shoot and kill cops after he got thrown into the cop car.

Yikes. Unfortunately Mr. Travis is probably isn’t going to get La Lohan-style punishment. I guarantee he is going to get a lot more than just a slap on the wrist and he should!

Marvin Hamlisch, the composer and conductor best known for movie songs like “The Way We Were” and “Nobody Does It Better”, died in Los Angeles on Monday. He was 68 years old.

Hamlisch collapsed after a brief illness, his family announced.

In a career that spanned over four decades, Hamlisch won virtually every major award: three Oscars, four Grammys, four Emmys, a Tony, and three Golden Globes.

He also composed music for films such as “Sophie’s Choice,” “Ordinary People,” “Three Men and a Baby,” “Ice Castles,” “Take the Money and Run,” “Bananas,” “Save the Tiger,” “The Informant!” and his latest effort, “Behind the Candelabra,” an upcoming HBO film about the life of Liberace.
