Kanye Takes His Phantom Line to NY Fashion Week

July 14, 2011 By WebGlitzer

Kanye West is a staple at New York Fashion Week, and just like every other year since his loud mouth stepped on the scene, he will be front row come September. Rumor has it though that he’s going to actually be behind the scenes showing his own line.  The UK’s Grazia Daily says “excellent sources” tell the magazine he will and that he is getting help from designer Louise Goldin and Central St. Martins professor Louise Wilson.

But wait, before you refresh your feed reader, thinking (like I did)that this is déjà vu…let’s be reminded of Nye’s first fashion attempt, Pastelle…which flopped before it even had an official launch date.

Let’s face it, Kanye has been talking about doing a clothing line for years. It’s like when you take up a weird new hobby like organic gardening or a Twitter account for your dog. It sounds fun and then it dwindles off. Then you go back to it every now and then and think about how you should really get rolling on it again. One celebrity version of that is picking at a fashion design sub-career.

While the daily is naming names this time around, few additional details have emerged in the persistent chatter about West’s fathom clothing line. While his behavior has certainly extended beyond name-dropping designers in lyrics and wearing high-end labels to taking a making a concerted effort to learn the trade via private meetings with A.P.C. head Jean Touitou, nothing official has been announced.

Well if the rumors are true, expect a lot of commotion in the front row. I’d even bet he’d seat Beyonce and Taylor Swift next to one another just for the headline.

Elizabeth Banks Has Sexy Legs Peeking Through a Thigh High Slit in Gown

July 13, 2011 By WebGlitzer

Elizabeth Banks shows off her sexy legs in high heels through a thigh high revealing slit in her pretty white gown. She is a pretty and sexy woman who typically does a nice job of showing off her trim and fit body. She has gorgeous legs that are long and toned. They look great in her pretty gown. Love the slit up the front of the dress. Nothing like a sexy reveal of beautiful legs through a slit in a gown.

July 12, 2011 By WebGlitzer

Sarah Hyland looks pretty in her strapless little black dress and slingback high heels. She has slim and sexy legs that are accentuated nicely in her short dress. I really like her platfrom satin slingback peep toe high heels. They are one of my favorite shoe designs. Always classy and very stylish they really highlight gorgeous legs.

M82: Images From Space Telescopes Produce Stunning View of Starburst Galaxy

July 10, 2011 By WebGlitzer

A few nice good images I found:

M82: Images From Space Telescopes Produce Stunning View of Starburst Galaxy
good
Description: Images from three of NASA’s Great Observatories were combined to create this spectacular, multiwavelength view of the starburst galaxy M82. Optical light from stars (yellow-green/Hubble Space Telescope) shows the disk of a modest-sized, apparently normal galaxy. Another Hubble observation designed to image 10,000 degree Celsius hydrogen gas (orange) reveals a startlingly different picture of matter blasting out of the galaxy. The Spitzer Space Telescope infrared image (red) shows that cool gas and dust are also being ejected. Chandra’s X-ray image (blue) reveals gas heated to millions of degrees by the violent outflow, which can be traced back to vigorous star formation in the central regions of the galaxy. The burst of star formation is thought to have been initiated by a close encounter with a large nearby galaxy, M81, about 100 million years ago.

Creator/Photographer: Chandra X-ray Observatory

NASA’s Chandra X-ray Observatory, which was launched and deployed by Space Shuttle Columbia on July 23, 1999, is the most sophisticated X-ray observatory built to date. The mirrors on Chandra are the largest, most precisely shaped and aligned, and smoothest mirrors ever constructed. Chandra is helping scientists better understand the hot, turbulent regions of space and answer fundamental questions about origin, evolution, and destiny of the Universe. The images Chandra makes are twenty-five times sharper than the best previous X-ray telescope. NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Ala., manages the Chandra program for NASA’s Science Mission Directorate in Washington. The Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory controls Chandra science and flight operations from the Chandra X-ray Center in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Chandra Images Torrent of Star Formation: A starburst galaxy located about 12 million light years from Earth.
good
Description: M82 is a galaxy where stars are forming at rates that are tens or even hundreds of times higher than in a normal galaxy. In this Chandra image (where low, medium, and high-energy X-rays are colored red, green, and blue respectively), M82 is seen nearly edge-on with its disk crossing from about 10 o’clock to about 4 o’clock. There are over a hundred point-like X-ray sources, some of which are likely black holes pulling matter from companion stars. Supernovas have produced the large bubbles of hot gas that extend for millions of light years to the upper right and lower left of the galactic disk.

Emma Watson Has Gorgeous Legs in a Little Black Dress and Sexy High Heels

July 10, 2011 By WebGlitzer

Emma Watson has a slim body and great legs. She’s stylish and very classy. I can’t say that I am a fan though. I love the Harry Potter movies but she’s just another face in the story to me. Style and gossip magazines love this woman. I think she is mostly boring and uninteresting. But she has sexy legs and tends to wear sky high heels to accentuate them. Maybe I would be more interested if her hair wasn’t so gross.

Cool Good images

Check out these good images:

M87: Giant Galaxy’s Violent Past Comes into Focus (A giant elliptical galaxy in the Virgo galaxy cluster about 50 million light years from Earth.)
good
Description: Two Chandra observations of the giant elliptical galaxy M87 were combined to make this long-exposure image. A central jet is surrounded by nearby bright arcs and dark cavities in the multimillion degree Celsius atmosphere of M87. Much further out, at a distance of about fifty thousand light years from the galaxy’s center, faint rings can be seen and two spectacular plumes extend beyond the rings. These features, which can be related to repetitive outbursts from the vicinity of the central supermassive black hole, show that the central black hole has been affecting the entire galaxy for a hundred million years or more. (The faint horizontal streaks are instrumental artifacts that occur for bright sources.)

NGC 3079 (A spiral galaxy about 55 million light years from Earth.)
good
Description: Chandra’s X-ray image (blue) combined with Hubble’s optical image (red and green) reveal towering filaments of warm (about ten thousand degrees Celsius) and hot (about ten million degrees Celsius) gas that blend to create the bright horseshoe-shaped feature near the center. This feature is thought to have been formed when a superwind of hot gas collided with cold gas in the galactic disk. The full extent of the superwind shows up as a fainter conical cloud of X-ray emission surrounding the filaments. Superwinds originate in the centers of galaxies either from activity generated by supermassive black holes, or by bursts of supernova activity.

Rihanna Shows Off Her Sexy Legs in a Typical Slutty Performance

July 5, 2011 By WebGlitzer

Rihanna has sexy legs. That said this is a slutty and classless individual. Pop culture continues spiraling into a state of decay. Fans dig the overt sexuality. There are few boundaries and today’s talent have little to offer but a display of outrageousness. I think the woman is pretty and has a great body. I just don’t care for slutty behavior. Spreading your legs for the camera in front of thousands on stage wearing little more than a bikini says a lot about one’s character. She can do better. Maybe one day she will and I will be there to document her gorgeous legs in feminine attire that accentuate her beauty as well as her new-found class.
